Here we have an unboxed 1980's built Mamod SL1 Live Steam Train Locomotive, these ever popular little trains are easily modded or improved and suppliers like Dream steam and MSS readily offer bits and pieces for them.
This one was recently steamed and ran ok, the safety valve, dome hex nut and safety valve all unscrew, there is paint loss around safety valve and the lower boiler heatshields may benefit from a clean up and repaint or just get it on the track and steam as it is. Comes with its solid fuel burner tray and removable cab back.
